Fact Check Policy

At Radarkpop, accuracy is an important part of our approach to covering K-pop and Korean entertainment. We make reasonable efforts to verify information before publishing and to correct inaccuracies when they are identified.

Verification Our writers and editors review information using reliable and relevant sources.

Depending on the story, these may include:

• Official statements from artists, agencies, labels, broadcasters, and event organizers

• Direct interviews and public statements- Official social media accounts and websites- Public records and announcements

• Reputable news organizations and industry publications- Original documents, statements, or other primary sources

We consider the nature of each story when determining which sources are appropriate.

Confirmed vs. Reported Information:

Radarkpop distinguishes between confirmed information and information that has been reported by other sources. When information has not been independently confirmed, we may use appropriate wording such as “reported,” “according to,” “sources say,” “allegedly,” or “is expected to” rather than presenting the information as established fact.

Rumors and speculation are not treated as confirmed facts. Fact-Checking Before PublicationBefore publication, writers and editors may review key details including names, dates, quotations, announcements, agency statements, group activities, release information, and other significant claims.

For developing stories, information may change after publication. When necessary, articles may be updated as new information becomes available.Corrections and UpdatesIf we discover that an article contains a factual error, we will review the issue and make an appropriate correction or update.Readers, artists, agencies, representatives, and other relevant parties may contact us regarding potential factual errors.

When submitting a correction request, please provide the article title, relevant information, and supporting evidence whenever possible. Corrections may include updating inaccurate information, adding clarification, or removing information that cannot be adequately supported. Sources and AttributionWe aim to attribute information to its original or most relevant source whenever appropriate.

We do not consider the existence of multiple articles repeating the same claim to be independent confirmation of that claim.Where possible, primary sources are preferred over secondary reports. Our CommitmentFact-checking is an ongoing editorial responsibility. While no publication can guarantee that every report will be free from error, Radarkpop is committed to reviewing information carefully, acknowledging mistakes, and providing readers with accurate and responsible entertainment news.
